In the third quarter of 2023, the geolocation games category on Android in Greece saw varied performance across the top five apps. Data from Sensor Tower reveals insights into downloads, revenue, and weekly active users for these popular titles.

Pokémon GO by Niantic, Inc. showed robust activity. Revenue peaked at around $11K during the week of August 21, with notable fluctuations throughout the quarter. Downloads reached a high of approximately 2.5K in the week of July 24 but saw a decline to around 634 by the end of September. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, peaking at nearly 32K in early July before settling around 26K by the end of the quarter.

Monster Hunter Now, also from Niantic, Inc., launched in mid-September and quickly gained traction. Downloads hit over 10K in its first week, while revenue reached a peak of about $514 in the week of September 18. Weekly active users started strong at around 5.6K but saw a decline to approximately 2.9K by the end of the quarter.

Five Nights at Freddy's AR from Illumix Inc. experienced modest performance. Revenue remained minimal, with the highest weekly revenue being around $40 in mid-August.
